Check your CPU before you buy Graphics Card

Last week I made a order for 22" Acer LCD monitor but before I bought that I did some research on resolutions. I check my pc description to see if my default graphics card can handle the resolution. I didn't understand the graphic card description but either way I bought XFX Getforce 8600 GT. I totally forgot to check my motherboard PCI/AGP slots. When my new graphics card arrived I opened my CPU case and found that my motherboard doesn't have PCI EXPRESS or AGP slots. XFX GT 8600 needs PCI EXPRESS or AGP Slots which neither of these are added in my motherboard. So, if you are reading this article and you don't know about computer than please don't make this silly mistake like I did. Let me give you some photos of what AGP and PCI Express Slots looks like. Here is a diagram

Now if you don't like to open your cpu case then the best thing to do is type your computer model number: example: Hp Pavillion a1113w then check for the available slots.

ATnT: The Ripper

Based on my billing statement let me give you all the details of why not to go for ATT service. First of all, I am a customer of Att for more than five years and their service is changing as time moves on. Before I move on I will say that I am not an enemy or friend of Att, but a loyal customer who is just hanging on the Att rope.

In 2004, I was just using their local and long distance phone service with a price of 36$ a month. Then in 2005 I decided to go for their DSL service with the price of 39$ monthly. My total used to come around 75$ a month back in 2005. In 2006, the bills were just increasing in tax payment and other bullshit payments that I have not idea why I am paying for it. Let me give you all the the charges they have added on my billing statement. Note: I have disconnected my DSL in April.

  • Att Local Service - $40.05
  • Att Long Distance Services - $11.92
Total: $51.97

WoW this is only for the phone service. I have no idea why I am still with Att. This bills are just excessive. 100 years gone by still the land line phone service is expensive.

Att Local Services Charges

Federal Tax - 1.07
Local Tax - .90
State Tax - 1.54
Local 911 Fee - .25
Telecomm Realy Service - .11

Att Long Distance Services Charges

Att One Rate Plan - 2.95
Universal Connectivity Charge - 1.13
Carrier Cost recovery Fee - 1.99
Local Tax - .28
State Tax - .47

There it is, all kinds of stupid charges that will be put into your billing statement. Att is expanding their company and I am pretty positive more things will be added on my billing statement if I hang out with this Mother F company.

Thank God that now there is much much better provider out their with more choices with less charge. Hopefully I will stop carry the burden of ATT by next month.

Norcent 10 Mega Pixel

I bought this camera from overstock.com. After using it for 2 weeks I have come my conclusion that this camera needs major improvement in consumption of battery power. I took few pictures in 10 MP and the quality seems to be just fine, but not that very sharp. It does not come in with any Flash Memory Card, so you can only take 8 pictures if you select 10 MP. You can take 200 pictures if you select 3 MP. What I like most about this camera is you can record videos with it and maximum default recording time is 1 min 27 secs, but the full battery power dies in 2 mins. I bought this camera for 139$ but there is a 12 MP digital camera that cost 10$ cheaper than this one. I won't recommend this to any one but if you like cheap cameras then go for it. If you do buy it then make sure you also buy magnifying glass to read the manual book. Want to know more about this camera? Then go this page: Norcent DC-1020

If you are thinking about buying a Dvd recorder then I strongly encourage you not to buy this Dvd Recorder. It cost me around 150$ and its been only 2 months I bought it. Only two months already the damn thing started to act like an idiot. The problem with this dvd recorder is that its not strong enough to record everyday programs. Few days ago I was recording a 20 min show manually and this error messeage popped up saying "There is an ERROR on the Dvd Program" and then the DVD player gets shut down. I lost my frigging video clips instantly. This problem didn't happen once but four times in one week. I am really pissed that a 150$ DVD recorder can go down so quickly. The battery and the remote control that comes with this recorder sucks big time. Please keep my word and don't buy this recorder if you are doing daily recording whether manually or timer.

Firefox Plugins: Flashblock & Download Helper

This article is for those people who are really annoyed by Flash ads or Flash Videos or anything that involves flash. If you never used Firefox browser before then why not give it a try? I think Firefox is way better than any other web browser on the net. I deal with online videos and online music everyday and every time I see those flash ads popping on my pc screen I just feel like blow up the f**king website. Well, thanks to Firefox, I have finally found a solution for blocking those Flash ads. The plugins is called Flashblock. If you are already using Firefox then download and install the adons on your browser and restart it. Let me give you an example of how it looks like before and after installing flashblock.

I went to this online gaming website name Addictinggames and as you can see on the bottom picture that there is a flash picture on the right hand side. This is before installing Flashblock on Firefox.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Same website Same Flash after installing Flashblock. You can clearly see that the flash has been blocked.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Thats not all you can even right click on that flash and you can chose the option "Remove this flash" or even "Allow flash from this website". This is an awesome adon that helps me surf the net faster.

    -----
This next addons will only work if you already installed FLASHBLOCK.

This plugin is for downloading flash videos from any and I really mean any website that has flash videos. If you already got firefox then just install this addons on your firefox browser:
    Download Helper
. After Installing restart your browser and then go to youtube or any website that allows flash video.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

That is an example on how you can use Download Helper. All you got to do is Right Click > Download Helper > DOWNLOAD LINK.

Now if you don't see the download link then I suggest you play the video for few seconds then reload your video page and retry the whole process. That way Download Helper will be able to detect the video link.

Its EASY and save you lot of time. You don't have to copy the link and go to another website to find the download link. It can be done all in one page with one cool addons.

    I hope this helps.

    New Beginning

Cool, I just started a new blog. Lets see how many days I can keep up this new blog. This is not first time I have started blogging. Let me introduce on how I got into blogging. My friend Sunny from Desinotes helped me making my own blog. My first blog was hosted by wordpress and I named my blog crappyblogger. When I started blogging I was desperate of making money because I had lost my job and I seriously having a hard time finding new jobs. I was really not into blogging because it involved too much writing and to tell you the truth I am one lazy big ass. So I blogged 2-3 months then I got bored. I then started a video blog which I used for entertainment purpose. Few months later, I finally found a real life job getting paid 10$ an hour and then my life went back to normal. I recently started to visit other peoples blog and really loving all the interesting articles that people write this days. Hopefully I will be able to level up my position with those people. Keep visiting my blog every week and hopefully you will see some new cool articles on the front page. ;)
